Co-vid 19 Pandemic Resident Survey

Melton Borough Council's Scrutiny Committee is asking residents to let it know how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected residents physical, mental and financial wellbeing.

Residents have been living in unprecedented times and Melton Borough Council are keen to ensure that recovery efforts are targeted in the most effective ways to support the community. More »

The survey aims to understand how residents' needs have been supported since the beginning of the pandemic and gain an understanding of how effectively the council and its external partners have responded to it.

Melton Borough Council are encouraging all residents to take part and share their views by completing the survey which can be found at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/MBCPeople.

The closing date for completion of the survey is 5pm on 23 July.

Residents who do not have access to the internet or social media are being urged to contact the Council on 01664 502502 so that they can receive a paper copy of the survey and provide their views. Hard copies are also available at the Council Offices for those who need them. » Less

Leicestershire County Council E-Bike Scheme

Leicestershire County Council are working in partnership with the Department of Transport to offer Leicestershire residents training and discounts on electric bikes.

Throughout the Summer 2021 the County Council's Safe and Sustainable Travel Team "Choose How You Move", will be hosting events and training for those interested in purchasing an electric bike using one of the Government's discount vouchers. More »

These vouchers are for £300 off the cost of an electric bike.
